Client Reviews
This is a great monitor for a backup camera if mounted close to the driver. I mounted it on the ceiling above the rear view mirror and the picture is significant enough to see. The image appears within a second or two right after shifting into reverse when the monitor and camera are wired to the backup lights.
There are three buttons on the back for adjusting the image. The swivel joint on the back makes it possible for a compact range of angle adjustment and can be rotated 360 degrees, but the base plate will sometimes hit the back of the monitor. It comes with an adhesive pad for mounting, but it's only decent for smooth flat surfaces. I drilled holes for screws. There is a massive bump on the cable exactly where the 3 wires come together so you require to drill a hole larger than 1/2 inch to thread the cable through.
PS: it takes a Long time to install a backup camera if you want it to appear nice. It took me days of perform to get rid of trim panels and hide all the wires. It is not a straightforward job.
Display appear fine, the view very clear. Don't know how extended the tape will last. It has two input and 1 power. Possibly use one more input for front view.
