Wonderful product...manufacturer was especially useful in the installation approach..1st installer mentioned it could not be installed in a Honda van..manufacturer stated that it could be carried out..went to a second installer and he completed it in 2 hours and at a less expensive price..
If you have a professional total the installation, the manufacturer extends the warrantee from 1 year to 3 years...the unit comes in black, but consists of the vital components to have it be grey or tan. The dvd player sends the signal thru the an FM signal to your radio, so the sound of the dvd player goes thru all the speakers in the radio. When your child can use headphones, then the signal will go to them, and you then can listen to your radio once again
Only trouble so far is that the remote does not perform very easily, but the controls on the front of the unit are particularly user friendly and uncomplicated to get to.
Our daughter loves the dvd player and it keeps her entertained while in the van... I would advocate the Boss DVD player, as it was a single third the price of the dvd player that the vehicle dealer installs and twice the size of the screen..a win..win..

I ordered this unit from Amazon final week as it had all the specs I was looking for. It did not disappoint. I installed the unit in my '08 Toyota Sienna, and not only does it look great, but functions amazing as nicely. The picture is superior, and the FM modulator operates well also. We bought 3 IR headphones for the children, and they operate nicely as well.
We will be employing this for the first time on a road trip to Palm Springs, so we're excited to keep the kids occupied for the duration of the lengthy drive.
Just a small note - I first was going to have this installed at Fry's Electronics.
