I bought this unit recently, thinking it could be a great opportunity to have a superb radio in my vehicle and turned out to be a total disappointment. The initial unit has a blue line in the center of the screen at just one particular day to install it on my Mazda.
I made the complaint to Amazon and they sent me a second unit, I was fairly happy that I received it and believed I could finally take pleasure in a decent music following so lengthy, but to my surprise when I was listening to MP3 files from USB memory the screen began to flash and got blank, although you could hear the music but the screen was not working.
Quickly I turn off the radio and turn it back seconds later to see if it already had passed the "dizziness" that gave him while playing MP3. Then I put a video DVD, when I am enjoying a beneficial show in my new radio the "dizziness" returned with even more force and this time it came out of the DVD menu and place in radio mode.
I have numerous comments on the management functions of this radio:
1. The controls are difficult to understand and do not final lengthy on the screen to system anything, example Bass, Trebble, and so on..
2. The sensitivity of the touch screen is incredibly poor.
3. The sound controls are very basic.

I'm happy with Amazon customer service but not with this BOSS.

this indash receiver is outstanding for the value. you get a dvd,am/fm radio, cd-rw mp3,sd card, and usb multi-decoding plus it plays videos via usb or sd storage. this model has only three functioning modes wich are radio,cd,sd/usb.....it does not include things like gps, television, bluetooth,or cd changer choice. but that does not matter it has alot of solutions for every of the sources, it capabilities separate bass and treble and balance and loud increase.the touch screen function is also quite responsive just know that you will not be making any adjustments though driving, the principal menu lets you adjust the screen brightnes and contrast, when playing a dvd movie it has yet another brightnes and contrast level, it is just extremely well place except for the gui its a bit crappy. the output level is okay it does not produce distorted sound, it is quite well balanced, i recomend this receiver mainly because it has a low price tag and has enough functions to claim its personal braging rights.
