Customer Reviews

I will say I was leary about these for the value, but if they had been crap I wasnt out significantly. I have owned planet audio in the past and havent had any concerns so I bought these, as nicely as five.25 and six.five inch models. I got these to mount in the knee bar in my cherokee to get the external amplified feed from my CB radio. They sound outstanding and Im certain they would for normal stereo use as nicely, as i have the other models hooked up and they sound good. just know where to crossover and dont treat them like a subwoofer and send a ton of bass to them. I would advocate these to any one. would be an remarkable upgrade more than stock speaker any day. I have been in car audio for 15 years, I've carried out it all, competitions, custom builds for show cars and every thing else.

Just after not obtaining a lot info on this brand name, I decided to chance it and obtain some. The value is low enough to make them desirable on that level, at least. I was replacing 22-year-old factory speakers that had no surrounds left in a beater vehicle, so expensive speakers just weren't warranted. Budget create! Needless to say, these sound way improved than the factory speakers did! The highs are correct and clear and the mids to lows are fairly decent for a set of 4" speakers. I did not count on significantly, but these seem to be performing very nicely for their price tag.
With a high-end Alpine CD deck, time correction/crossover settings allow for fairly straightforward and straightforward tuning of sound from these speakers. I've only had them installed for a week so far (self-installed), so I'll have to report back following the subwoofer install and a thorough high-volume thrashing on a road trip. ) So far so fantastic!
Edit: Just after a thorough thrashing and a number of high-volume sessions with deck power at complete volume, I'll vouch for the durability of these speakers. Still operating awesome! I program on acquiring a Planet audio amplifier next, they have terrific reviews and apparently put out tons of power.
