Consumer Evaluations

Prior to I go into particulars, I want to mention that I am extremely pleased with the acquire despite the fact that I rated it as 4-stars.
I have really serious doubts buying this one since it has no evaluations.
I've installed these in my car, connected to media center and use two IR headsets. The technique worked excellent for the past two weeks and we lastly can drive in peace for lengthy distances.
Build: The high quality of the item shocked me. I expected it to be much less - according to the price tag. The headrest itself is done from leather-like material. It has hice really feel and looks decent in the auto. I have grey interior and black headrests are OK there (it's not really dark black). The monitor look is outstanding. Buttons are compact and operate nicely. The cables and the connectors are OK as nicely. You even have some filter box on the DC wires and the plug.
Screen: The description states 1400x230 pixels. Well. I have no idea what 1400 suggests, but the image is good. The quality remains excellent even if you connect both monitors to one particular DVD player thru V-connector. Youngsters have no problems with it.
Installation: Not genuinely, but quite simple and easy.
Some extra notes:
1. You can tilt the screen up and down together with the headrest. It is very convenient to the youngster given that you can match the height, but I think that it creates some sort of security hazard for you given that the headrest does not genuinely support your head. You can not adjust each: the headrest to defend you and the monitor for hassle-free watching. Plus, you can't truly fix the headrest to resist car crash. I personally do not care, but other persons might possibly.
two. The description mentions two AV inputs. This is not totally accurate. You have the cable in the pole and the AV input at the front. I thought that I can connect two devices thru the pole cables because I do not genuinely want something connected to my front panel. I thought to have two media centers connected to each monitor, to let the children watching identical/unique films by just changing AV input. This is impossible considering that in the pole you have two video inputs but ONLY One audio input. You can connect DVD and rear view camera. But who wants rear view camera on the rear seat. This is just stupid style. I gave 4 start out only for the reason that of that.
three. I was not conscious that IR connection does not have any frequencies... As a result, the headsets receive signal from both monitors. So essentially you can not broadcast two unique signals if you use IR.
4. Final note is you do not have car adapter. The monitors has two wires (red and black) that you have to connect to the auto electrical system or obtain the adapter oneself (further ten$).
Beneficial luck

i purchased this headrest monitor set to quiet my kids in the back seat.......fairly clean and clear picture i have it connected to the Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD In-Dash Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver i also bought two of the SSL SHP One Pair of Wireless Headphones it works great.......peace in the back seat.
