Consumer Critiques

Pyle makes fantastic monitors. What the PLHR79 and their other monitors provides the user in video top quality for the size can't be beat for the price.
I bought two of the PLHR79 units via amazon.com given that the description included the comment "AV Input."
The unit has two Video Inputs, but NO AUDIO INPUT.
I picture the PLHR79 would be wonderful for a video only security camera input or for a back-up monitor for a Motor Coach or a Bus.
Craftsmanship is high as is all of the Pyle units I've noticed. With my hobbies I've decided to keep the two PLHR79 units.
For my original desires I ended up purchasing two Haier HLT71 7-Inch Handheld LCD Tv units with AV inputs. The added bonus is that the HLT71 is also a Television with an ATSC tuner. :)
Nothing negative to say about the Pyle monitor, it's the listed specs that had been incorrect.

Mounted this Tv in the wall to use as a camera monitor for the front door. Worked perfectly. It does, however demand a 12V power provide that is not included.
